How to get Gum out of Carpet and Hair ~Spitfire~ Not what you think!!

Not sure if this has been posted, but you can put finger nail polish *remover* on a cotton ball, and dab it on the gum. I have found that it work just as well when you get gum in your hair...or your kids do..lol. Check it on a hidden area of your carpet first, to make sure it won't ruin your carpet, but I have found that my carpet barely gets wet, it kind of melts it, but makes it easy to pull up, if that makes sense.

Date: 2/28/2001 10:17:00 PM  ( From Author ) From Authorid: 8941    I've put it in my hair to get gum out, no problem whatsoever. I was afraid that it might do something too, but it didn't do a thing except get the gum out, and I didn't wash my hair immediatly after either, but if you were concerned, you could.
