I experiance these three knocks of death when someone I know dies, whoever is in the room with me hears them also, their alway's distinct and according to the way the death occurs is how they sound for instance my fathers were light and dragging softly, he died and was brought back to life and put on life support for three weeks, my friend who was killed violently had extremely loud pounds on a wrought iron door! No matter what someone goes to answer the knocks and nobody is there, it is the three knocks of death, but how do tyhey happen and why do we hear them? |

I believe your story a similar incident occurred. I was leaving the house and my wife call me three difference times, each time I was about ready to open the front door leave. My house sat two feet from the city sidewalk and about ten feet from the street,were my car was park. Anyway after being called twice and my not wanting anything was quite irritating and by the time I made it back to the front doors she call to me again saying never mind I opened the door and their was a loud boom. An older lady leaving the drug ran right into my 1969 Pontiac Leman senting it nearly twenty feet from where it was parked.It caved the rearend in to the front sit with the differental under the front sitting area.I just thank God that I wasn't in it. By the way the old lady suffer minor injuries. So did her Big Ford LTD ! |

I too have heard the three. I took place on a night in about 1994. The story is long but took place in one night. It was also set to the clock showing 5:55. To this day, I don't know why I was woke three times (twice in a dream) waking me into a search of my apartment. Then again, and the last time was the worst, for I was awake when I heard it but it was tapping, three very timely, then when I turned to the clock, it read 5:55 am. I sprang up and stayed awake. Several people I work with to this day, were aware of what took place that night. We have yet to know what 3 very timely knocks and 5:55 have to do with anything. |
| Date: 1/14/2001 3:32:00 PM Many years ago, my friends grandmother was freightened to death after hearing three very loud knocks on the basement door. These knocks, always in threes, were heard be other members of the household and the cause was never found. It was an old farmhouse in southern New Jersey and was haunted! In fact, it is haunted to this day. A cause for Mom's death was never really determined and the family still believe it was rom fear. Now, some 30 years later, my own mother is hearing three knocks every once in a while. They are not the thunderous knocks experienced by "Mom", but light rapping. While visiting my mother, I also heard there three raps, about four times in all. My husband was present at the time and did not hear them! She is also experiencing loud bangs in the attic, which my brother heard also--they were awakened at 2:30 am to the noise. Does anyone know what this means? My friend from the farmhouse, who hasn't lived there in over 20 years is hearing the three knocks at her house too. This is so disturbing, and some feedback would be appreciated. |

It only happended to me twice woke me and my husband up, they were very lound???? Why??? |
