BUTTERSCOTCH STICKS

3/4 cup margarine
3 cups brown sugar
3 eggs
3/4 cup pecans
3 tablespoons vanilla
3 cups flour
3/4 tablespoon salt
3 tablespoons baking powder
Granulated sugar to dip the cookies in


Mix ingredients together, divide and roll into balls. Refrigerate for 3 hours. Dip each cookie into granulated sugar and place on greased pan. Bake at 400 degrees for 15 to 20 minutes on cookie sheet until roasty color. Cook only 1 dozen at a time.
