So sometimes you just feel like you've got words to say, you know? I was sitting on my bed and it just started to pour out. Those are the best poems I believe. Now some of the lines might sound a little clashy, but that's OK with me. Anyway, here goes.
I guess I'll just start from the beginning
That seems like the best place to start
It's not an easy story to tell
Because it comes straight from the heart
There was this boy that she met
And she liked him very much
She waited for him to make a move
But I'm afraid she didn't have much luck
But then she decided to be brave
And put a little of herself on the line
And by God he responded!
And she took that as a very good sign
So she decided to try it again
To see if he would do the same
And then once more, another try
She felt her life was about to change
But then she realized that these moments
They really didn't mean anything
They were still only "Just Friends"
Nothing about their relationship had changed
It meant nothing at all
Unless he made his own move
So she tried to give him opportunity
Chances that he could use
But all that happened was "See You Later"
And all her hopes began to fall
Because it probably meant only one thing
That he didn't like her that way at all
But there was always one small chance
That he was really just too shy
But it was too damaging to hope
For that to be the reason why
But she wasn't giving up
Just merely letting go
She couldn't wait all her life
For him to let some feeling show
It's not that she didn't want him anymore
Because she definitely still did
But she wasn't going to follow after him
She was just going to live.
