If you are thinking about doing this I'm going to drive down there illegally and kick you right in your bad foot. You're skinny as heck and you don't need a diet. ![]() |

it sounds like cutting out alot of carbs.. and you probably lose alot of water weight and will gain the weight back as soon as your off the diet... i think any diet that has the word "crash" in it is a bad thing... and most often you are just messing around with yoru metabolism and often losing water weight ![]() |

The Alabama Hospital Cardiac diet? It's a hoax, and VERY bad for you. There's no such thing as an effective *and* healthy crash diet. ![]() |

And, the reason you'd drop weight? 1. You drop water weight. 2. You're pretty much just starving yourself. 3. The stuff you're eating is low in nutrients, and some of the stuff, like cottage cheese and ice cream, is too high in fat to eat without the nutrients you should be getting. ![]() |

Crash diets are not good for you - and I agree with Katetastic - you do not need to diet. ![]() |

I tried something similar to this for about 5 days. I was so weak and hungry that it was absolutely not worth the effort. ![]() |

That sounds like a horrible diet plan, Jess. =( Unfortunately, there are no crash diets that are healthy for your body. ![]() |

Crash diets are a farce. Stay away from it. I'm telling you. If you do this you could end up in the hospital. NO JOKE ![]() |

i think the hospital is a little extreme, but i wouldn't recommend it either. you'll just gain it back so it's not worth it, which is pretty much the bottom line. ![]() |

I'm not sure this is the answer to lose weight. I'm comfortable with my weight but you always want to talk to a doctor before starting a diet. ![]() |

Well the reason I am considering this is that I have a size 6 dress that I am too big for around my stomach middle. I can't do crunches or anything because I can't lay on my back. So I was just going to do it for a little bit to get into this dress for homecoming and for a pageant I am doing in November. I have gained all my weight back in whole upper body and NONE in my lower body.... ![]() |

Diet the safe way. I've tried to take short cuts and only hurt myself. When I ate right, and excercised I dropped the weight I wanted to drop. There is never any good reason to drop weight so quickly. Your health is much more important. And also, if you drop it slowly, like I did, you will feel like you’ve accomplished something great, and… you have. If you start eating healthy now, and doing excercise that doesn't involve you doing crunches, you should lose the weight you want by November. I mean, a size 6... you're fine, stay healthy, I'm sure you look great. ![]() |

Don't do it. All crash diets are bad for you and you gain the weight back almost immediatly. Also do not go with low or no carb diets. There have been studies that show that women on these diets suffer from emotional problems and sleep disorders due to the lack of carbs. Carbs are good, carbs are your friends. Make friends with whole grain breads and pasta and try to avoid the danishes and cookies. Try to eat more fruits and veggies. A little sugar is not bad if you have a sweet tooth just use it in moderation. Also the portions look small. If you are used to eating larger portions then you'll feel like you're starving yourself (and you are). Try to slowly downsize your portions over time. People talk about water weight as though water is a bad thing. Water actually helps your body to release waste and when you drink more water you also feel more full. Then you'll eat less. Don't like water? Try putting some lemon juice in it for flavor or use Crystal Light. Also Gatorade is a great choice. StarGurl ![]() |

you would starve on this diet & it doesn't sound healthy at all... I think you end up gaining it all back anyway.. next time you go to the doctor, ask about different exercises you can do.. he may be able to help ![]() |
