Did Michael Skakel really kill Martha Moxley? -- Mike

Many of you may know of this case. On October 30, 1975 Martha Moxley, a beautiful, kind, immensely popular 15 year old girl was murdered on her Belle Haven estate in Greenwich Connecticut supposedly by Michael Skakel who was also 15. Personally I believe he did it, but does anyone here disagree? Why? Who do you think murdered her? Also, did anyone here actually know Martha Moxley at any time in their life? If so, please describe your memories of her and your experiences with her.

Date: 10/9/2004 5:50:00 PM  ( From Author ) From Authorid: 13886    Murder in Greenwich? Very good book, terribly sad what happened to that poor girl! She had alot going for her. Personally I wish I could know someone like her, but there really aren't that many. Why would someone want to kill anybody, let alone someone like her?
Date: 10/9/2004 5:58:00 PM  From Authorid: 26049    I agree with you completely

Date: 10/9/2004 6:24:00 PM  From Authorid: 24319    Living in Connecticut this sad story was covered a lot. When he was being tried they covered it so much that it became almost annoying because everything was just being repeated over and over again. I personally think that he did do it.
Date: 10/9/2004 6:25:00 PM  From Authorid: 36766    I never really read anything about this, just listen to a bit on tv, so I don't really know the whole story about this.
Date: 10/9/2004 6:38:00 PM  From Authorid: 49742    I think he did it! It's just sad he went all those years before being convicted!
Date: 10/9/2004 6:40:00 PM  From Authorid: 26049    isn't he dead now anyways?

Date: 10/9/2004 6:52:00 PM  From Authorid: 35160    yes i do think he did it.
Date: 10/9/2004 7:05:00 PM  ( From Author ) From Authorid: 13886    no, he's alive. Just in prison.
Date: 10/9/2004 8:16:00 PM  From Authorid: 7574    He definitely did it...There's no other way around it.
Date: 10/10/2004 11:33:00 PM  From Authorid: 36901    I've followed the case for years. I too think Michael Skakel killed her. I've watched all the documentaries and the book that Dominique Dunn wrote (it was fiction but losely based on the 'case' and was also made into a movie called A Season in Purgatory). I can't say that I care much for Mark Firman, but I think he did a great job on this case.
Date: 10/11/2004 3:29:00 PM  From Authorid: 30786    I have been very intrigued by this case, and have done a lot of research on it, that goes beyond just watching the movie. I couldn't tell you who killed her, but I believe it was either Michael, or his brother Tommy. The murder was so brutal and senseless. I also get the feeling that if it was just one of the brothers who killed her, then the other one knew about it because they were both caught lying many times throughout the investigations that went on, the most damning evidence being discovered when the boys' father hired a PI and all the evidence pointed back towards them. I'd say that both the boys were involved, one as the attacker, the other as the confidante of the killer sworn to secrecy.
