My bride's hair was down to her butt until I finally let her cut some of it off recently. It's really thick and she was having a hard time brushing it. I don't know what to tell you because yours really isn't that long. Do you have split ends? That was her complaint. Now she has no problems with it. I wish you well. |

a leave in conditioner is the best.. but having it trimmed would be the best thing for it.. even just the tips... 1/4 to 1/2 an inch will help alot and make it look healthier... and the only place that needs the leave in condtionner is the ends.. unless your hair is coloured... then the damage is higher and condtionner is needed there |

My hair is past my waist and very fine, like little kids hair. I use regular condition, loreal nutri vive, then I use a spray in conditioner, then I spray a detangler. That seems to do the trick. |

Mine's almost down to my waist. I use Suave shampoo and that seems to work pretty good. Smells nice, too. : ) |

Mine is about an inch from the base of my back. Detangling leave in conditioner works good. And a soft brush helps mine, sometimes when I dont use the conditioner I have to get my mom to help me brush the ends. |

Switch to Pantene shampoo and conditioner...I'm using the voluminzing one right now...my hair is about mid-back and naturally curly...I get knots easily and bad...lol. It still amazes me how soft it is now, and how easily the knots comb out. Also, sometimes after I get out and dry my hair, I'll put a quarter size amount of Herbal Essences leave in conditioner in my hair...mostly the ends. |

I also use a detangling comb and take alot of time working the knots out. It's also how you shampoo your hair as you have to be careful not to wad it up when shampooing. It can be so time consuming. |

My hair is past my shoulder blades, and I very seldom have a tangle problem |

Unfortunately I went to the store and could not find ANY spray leave-in conditioners..the only thing they did have was Loreal kids detangler so I'm using that for now. I plan on going to a hair salon soon so I'll see what they recommend. I think part of the problem is there is to much iron in the water here and it can damage your hair. |

Lemon, do you start at the bottom of your hair when you detangle it with a comb? I slowly work the knots out that way and we have very hard water. I seldom use conditioner and strip my hair often. Best of luck to you. |

Hey sis you know how bad Fiona's hair gets. I use Aussie 3 minute miracle. As soon as she gets out of the tub I can comb straight through her hair with little to no tangles what so ever. Give it a try mom and I also use it! Love ya! |
