I had a dream where I was standing in an old-fashioned town. I was dressed in a white gown of velvet with gold buttons up and down the middle. Usually, I never wear white, so this was weird to me in the dream. And what was even more weird was that everyone around me had dour looks on their faces, looking as if they wanted to kill me. The sky above was dark, threatening to spill rain down upon me any second. That didn't bother me as much as the townspeople did. I was terrified of the way they were grumbling at me and glaring. I turned and ran through a dense, even darker forest. Also, I could hear strange violin music as I ran through the forest. It wasn't sweet or melodious, but fast and scary. I knew that I had to get the heck out of there as soon as possible. I turned to look over my shoulder and I could see a few Klanspeople, intent on killing me, coming after me as I tried to escape the town. I saw a cabin up ahead and, standing in the doorway, directing me to safety, was a tall, thin young man of about twenty-five or so. With the Klansmen and the scary violin, I was scared to the point of almost peeing on myself. Before I could reach the young man in the cabin, I was actually tackled by one of the Klansmen. And then I awoke. How it changed my life:It inspired me to rewrite a story I've written about the Klan. But it made me more scared of them!
