Is it just me or was this movie just creepy? I saw it this weekend and it scared the bejesus out of me. And I have a question concerning one part. Derek Vinyard (Edward Norton) was a big, skinheaded racist who hated any immigrant, black, or the like. He was a big inspiration to his little brother, Danny (Edward Furlong) and lead this big crusade with his skinhead pals against the blacks in his neighborhood. After a grisly murder involving some black men, he is sent to prison for 3 years for manslaughter. After what happened to him in prison, he doesn't want Danny to follow in his footsteps and does all he can to save him...
This movie was just creepy. I liked it, because it made you think, but I also didn't have pleasant dreams. This is a spoiler, but when that black guy had to put his teeth on the curb and Derek smashed his head with a booted foot, how did that kill him? I know this is morbid, but did he smash his head, broke his jaw, or what? It scared the heck out of me and I dreamt of someone doing it to me. "shivers" Anyway, go rent this movie and watch it. It's quite the interesting viewing.
