The whole day she just sat in bed sobbing. She was in total disbelief that she had lost TWO of her closest friends in the last 24 hours. All of them were so innocent! Why would anyone want to kill them? Sure, Angie could be a little concited sometimes, but that was true for everyone. Macy on the other hand, had probably been the sweetest of the group. She was so shy and quiet, since her father had told her to "Shut Up" since she was born. The murderer was of course the number one suspect. No one could figure out the link between him and the girls though. He wasn't even from here. He had been driving through when the police arrested him for a speeding violationg, but then recognized him as a murderer that was on the loose. They decided to keep him in the local prison. Earlier that day, Jamie had come over to Melaine's. They had sobbed with eachother for a while, since neither of them could go to school under these circumstances. At around 5:30 Jamie decided to go home. She didn't feel comfortable driving home in the dark. At around 7:00, Melanie's parents were going to go out. Melanie tried to call Jamie to see if she could go over there while her parents were gone. "Hello?" It was Cindy, Jamie's mom. "Oh, Hi Mel. Yeah, I'm sure Jamie's here somewhere, her radio is blaring with your 'rock and roll.' Listen huh, I'm on the other line, long distance. I'll have her call you later, bye!" She hung up before Melanie got a chance to say a word. Something about her conversation with Cindy was bothering her. She couldn't figure out what though. She called Janice and asked if she could go over there. She agreed and said that Danielle was over there too. On her way over there with her parents, Melanie figured out what had been bothing her! She remembered Cindy saying, "Her radio is blaring with your 'rock and roll.'
