Well, I am having to write a paper for my Abnormal Psychology class talking about instances of anxiety in the Bible (I go to a Christian University). Some keywords my professor gave us to look for are: Anxious, Fear(ful), Fret, Careful, Care, and Worry. She said our summary must include 1) What the Bible says about anxiety, 2) What the Bible suggests as ways to handle anxiety, and then give and overall summary.
ANYWAY... I have a question about a verse that I am wanting to use:
In Genesis 4:12, God tells Cain that he will be a "restless wanderer" on the earth (for slaying his brother Abel). I think it's talking about how Cain will, from then on, always have to yield his own crops and they will no longer be just readily available to him. However, do you think that any part of the "restless" wanderer relates to anxiety? I would think that the restless part could tie in with anxiety but I am not sure. What is your opinion on this verse? Should I use it for my paper? Thanks so much!
