Lemon, I am usually cool headed, but this time I was really mad. My younger sis looked at me as the doors were closing, and said, "I guess we are wiating then?" And I said, RAHTER LOUD, "YEAH sure, it isn't like we have a BABY or anything!" I know they heard cause one of the guys looked at me like, "Oooops" but it was too late, the doors had closed... I know what you mean. Have you seen the movie Big with Tom Hanks? Well there is a part when he in a hotel room in New York city and he's watching TV and on the show he is watching there is gunfire, well he turns off the TV and still hears the noise. That's how it is in my neighborhood at home. I'm at college right now though and it's 4 hours away. But what is sadder, is at home I've gotten use to it! It's not even abnormal anymore. I live in the ghetto, we are desperately trying to sell our house. When you go to the grocery store people cut in the line and you don't want to say too much because maybe they are packing something. You never hear have a nice day, and oh I understand you completely.  |

B Monkey, I know where you are coming from... I grew up poor, and these were my lullabies as well. I guess I have never lost faith that one day thigs would be better, but today... I mean, MY BABY was with us. (I consider my nephews and my sisters MY Babies) My two month old nephew... I can't keep hoping for those people anymore. I have to put Myself and Mine FIRST. I don't live there anymore, my family has been through the hard times, and we have bounced back. This was the last straw, as far as FAITH is concerned. |

There are a lot of parents in this country who don't care to teach their kids common courtesy, and I for one regret that that is the case.
