I popped this movie into my DVD player knowing very little about it... the only judgement i had on it was angelina jolie looked very bad as a platinum blonde in the promos i was on TV... the basics of the movie is that hte main character Lanie who thinks her lifeis perfect is told by a Prophet that she is going to die, and this makes her think about her life...i admit it.. i didn't hate this movie.. it was a romantic comedy(unfortunately i don't think i could find a guy who would sit down and watch it*L*) it has some flaws but it also has some really cute parts... the editing was quite smartly done which also adds to the pace nicely(if it was edited differently it probally wouldn't have held my attention as much) i'm not going to give away the end(i hate when people do that) but i think the very last scene where the Prophet catches the baseball is just tacky... ending it with him was a great idea but pesonally i think it would have been better if he had been downtown yelling out another prediction about something else..(personally i would have ended it that way) if your like romantic drama/comedies give this one a chance..
just pop it in with no expectations.. it worked for me
