I have a problem... I'm going out with this guy and well, when I met him I thought he was really nice. I still do actually. But... well, he's just not like any boyfriend I've ever had. (well except maybe a couple) You see, he never calls me, Ever! He has in the past but... no he just doesn't call me. I call him alot and usually he's not home but when he is we talk and he seems to like me when he's talking to me. I don't think he's cheating on me, just so you know. Um and another thing, he doesn't like, say sweet things to me and comliment me like most other boyfriends have. He doesn't say anything nice to me like "You're beautiful" or "I'm glad you're in my life"... you know. I mean I don't really think I'm asking for much, just a phone call every now and then and maybe a compliment once in a while. Because he is the only one that I want to impress and when I see him I always try too look my very best because he's my boyfriend and I enjoy getting ready and putting on my best outfit so he'll see that i care about my appearance. But then when i don't get a "Wow you look good today" it just seems like kind of a dissapointment. Like I have failed or something. I really like this guy and I don't want to break up with him! I called him one time and I asked him if there was anything bothering him about me, because he never calls. But he said that there was nothing bothering him, he appologized for not calling, and then he called me like two or three times after that but that's it. I was thinking maybe one of you could help me out and try to find a good way of talking to him about it. I don't know how to bring this up because I like him so much that I get kind of nervous when I talk to him. I'll know exactly what I'm going to say but then when it comes out it sounds different, or I forget what it was that I was going to say. I'm making sence right?? Anyway, this has really been bothering me for a few days (I wrote a poem about it, "show me your heart") and I was really hoping that someone could help me out. What should I do??
