My boyfriend wrote this for me.
at first its a hug and a kiss
a frequent hit and miss
the occasional "i like you alot"
or "i think you're hot"
But never is it straight from the heart
on either part
it's something shallow or hollow
like in the past, feelings they should follow
but as time goes by
you hate to leave
you hate to say good-bye
for fear she will cry
then one day it just come out
with no fear or shadow of doubt
"i love you"
straight from the heart
when i see her
she makes me feel good, never worse
it is kinda like
a good version of a curse
when i see her, i grin
and know that with her on my side
i can only win
the only thing left to do
is to make her see
that i love her
