Hi Lady Luck. That was nice of you and hubby. I don't see people being that cold hearted where I live. In fact I'm pretty proud of the area I live in for it's compassion. The Holiday season around here is all about giving, sharing and careing. I'm blessed. *hugs and love*.... |

Gramma, you are one sweet and kind woman. :) I'm glad you did that for that man.. it was the right thing. I'm sorry to hear that cars were passing by without a second glance. That's sad. Well, good work. You certainly helped someone have a better night tonight. :D *hugs* |

I hope so Rika...but I have a feeling that this poor man had been there for a long time before our car pulled up to him...I am so disappointed right now in the people in my Province..we are supposed to be known for our kindness and compassion...what happened to that tonight?? xoxo |

What a beautiful story, Sis!!!!! You are so right... that man will probably remember you and your hubby for the rest of his life... I can just imagine what a nice night he is having knowing that there were two loving souls that saw to it that he had a good meal... This IS the season for giving... and giving love... I think you accomplished BOTH of those things tonight... I love ya Sis!!! |

That was a very kind thing you did for that man......I have seen homeless people near my home that are cold and hungry......and I feel for them. Where I live most of the people that are poor get money from others as charity and use it on alcohol and cigarettes and drugs. I've seen men that reek of alcohol that live on the streets take the gift of money and head right down to the liquor store.....and it's very frustrating wanting to help them get back on their feet the honest way when they waste it on things they shouldn't. I guess a person has to use their best judgement hoping they will do the right thing with the money. Regardless of what they choose to do with it, it's still a great feeling knowing that you are helping someone less fortunate have a better day. God bless!! |

I agree... This is something my mom always told my brother and I to do if we were in the right circumstances where we could help out. :o) |
