WELL I have come to a decision here where terrorism and physical abuse are concerned.....you may sit there and say how do these two deeds go hand in hand? I will tell you how they do......A violent act is the means to meet the end.....Both are abuse of power, a way to control...it is a gross abuse of power,Both are a way of playing on the mental wellness of those being victimized....First it starts out slow, and no one sees it, than it will slowly escalate.....always trying to get others to sympathize with them.In both cases they played in the begining the victim, many times in some way they werre victims of an act of violence or mental abuse themselves, they were once the victim.They play on sympathy, your and my sympathy, People come onto hard times and it is so easy to prey on the vulnerbility of those around them.As in the case of terrorism it is the prospect of recruiting those who are down and out looking for a savior......the terrorist is their salvation, the one who seems to be strong with all the answers and the shoulder the need to lean on...an abuser is sympathetic, listens and is strong, the one who will be your savior, your shoulder to lean on......slowly they start to mold and take away and you dont even realize it.....remember you know they are the strong one who is giving you your way to salvation, and do as asked, little by little giving yourself away one peice at a time.....they play mind games with you..one minute you are good for them the next you arre nothing, you didnt do it right, and you feel bad so at first you try to please the one who had in some way saved you from your despair.They have all the answers for you, and if they are helping you and it seems that they are in control of no one hurting ypou, slowly you mold yourself into what they want.....eventually instead of using only words to hurt you they hit once in a while, slowly one day at a time you start to fear what will happen if you do not do as asked, not even realizing you are abused or terrorized to the point that which in reality you really are......you start to accept and know they can hurt you and when you try to retaliate they do things to you without any prevocation what so ever.....they think they deserve......deserve what? your life, their twisted beleif eventually is programmed into you that it is what you beleive.....slowly deteriorating the core of what you originally were, a peace loving kind, now you think abuse and war are the way, you fight the fight you do not exactly know what the fight is, but.......there is a reason to the madness, to get what you need and want, when it is only a twisted version of the truth, scaled to what the wanted you to beleive.....yes you are right in what you seek, but it is far from the truth, even though it is the truth...you beleive what you savior has programed into you abused and desperate heart...you are desperate to feed the hunger within you.....the need for something you think you beleive in, when what you beleived in, in the first place was peace and love, to live your way of life the way you saw once, to get to means to meet the end no matter what you have to do to get there.....and what you want more than anything is to have faith and share your beleif, to have the world feel what you feel......but it is really not what you feel......it is what he feels......you just dont know it.........
this is how terrorism and abuse are so much alike.....the abuser is the terrorist, the terrorist is an abuser......once the victim long ago.....and so it goes on, passing down and feeding from the fire passed onto him by his fore father, always having a purpose burning withmore fury than the ancestors before........to control by any means possible, to death do they part, never knowing the real purpose in its entirity...why?because the savior is the devil, and only you can save you from him.
It takes alot to realize when you have gone from the victim to the victimizer, admit it, and change it.to beleive what your heart tells you and change what you mind has told you.
