Bin Laden: Could you ever find it in your heart to forgive him? *TDA*

Ok guys my gut tells me this debate may hit the fan, but I'm going to go though with it anyways.

As the topic says, the debate is this: If Bin Laden was to come willingly to the U.S. and make a national apology for all the lives hes ever taken, though the WTC, embassy bombings, whatever it may be, if he were to come and profess his sorrow and beg the forgiveness of the nation, would YOU as an individual give it to him?

I'm sorry to say, I would NOT. Maybe God tells us to forgive, but Bin Ladens crimes are unforgiveable in my opinion.

Date: 10/14/2001 8:42:00 PM  From Authorid: 34119    I wont even forgive for his evil behavior
Date: 10/14/2001 8:43:00 PM  From Authorid: 30229    It would be hard... very hard indeed...
Date: 10/14/2001 8:46:00 PM  From Authorid: 36487    Nooo, that "man" deserves no forgiveness
Date: 10/14/2001 8:47:00 PM  From Authorid: 16845    Nope, I was able to find it in my heart to forgive mcveigh *Ok, I'm not trying to compare the two although it may come across as such, but you know* and he didn't even ask for it....we didn't go to war over what he did though. Bin laden is not human, he does not possess a soul or the ability to feel sorrrow....for the pain he has caused so many, for the damage he has done, for the crimes he has comitted, I could never forgive the sob.....I do not believe in torture or the death penalty and will adamately debate someone to the ground against both, call me a hypocrite but I'll make and exception for this sick puppy.
Date: 10/14/2001 8:48:00 PM  From Authorid: 34912    If I were really sorry for soemthing, I would more willingly accept the punishment.
Date: 10/14/2001 8:49:00 PM  From Authorid: 27403    Forgiveness is a spiritual and emotional thing. Yes, perhaps even without his begging my forgiveness I can forgive him, for we must all walk our path. But, I could not excuse him. He is responsible for his crimes. And whether he were to face capital punishment or life imprisonment, justice must be served, to the best of our human ability. Love and Light

Date: 10/14/2001 9:04:00 PM  From Authorid: 37809    I'm a pretty forgivable person, I typically don't hold grudges are anything. But with Bin Ladin, I don't know if I could forgive him or not. What he did was horrible and inexcusable and I don't know if I have it in me to forgive him.
Date: 10/14/2001 9:08:00 PM  From Authorid: 34758    he's evil... no, i couldn't forgive him.
Date: 10/14/2001 9:10:00 PM  From Authorid: 38726    No,no way, no how.Forgiveness for being an evil, evil man....I would not have forgiven Hitler, and I will not ever forgive Bin Laden, or any other psycho that uses terrorism as a way to install fear in our Nation.

Date: 10/14/2001 9:41:00 PM  From Authorid: 29806    Sure I'd forgive him, then as he turned and walked away I'd riddle his body with 7.62mm shells from a high-powered carbine rifle, and spit on his corpse. So, in other words, no. -ID-
Date: 10/14/2001 9:55:00 PM  From Authorid: 16164    I will never forgive him........god can forgive him but I refuse not to.....and if I am going to go to hell for not being a forgiving person, than he shall see me there, cuz in hell you have to live you life over and over again, and the pain he will feel from the torturous death which he deserves will be eternal and unforgiving...I hope he rots there, and burns in the most escruciating pain he has never felt beforre, and only get worse as time goes on, the wounds inflicted on him from death will not kill him, but the pain he will feel will........I hope he dies in agony, never in my life can I honestly say I hate anyone........that is ecept him, and I am not a hateful person nor am I a vengance seeking person.....but some of them deserve to be hated and in agony.....
Date: 10/15/2001 1:21:00 AM  From Authorid: 39043    I don't know if i could ever forgive him for what he did to our Country, to our loved ones. I know I'll never forget what he did. It is on my mind every day. I still haven't figured out how someone could be so heartless to kill all those innoncent pple. All I know is he will pay for what he has done...and we all know he will never say he is sorry..i mean he won't even confess to what he did. Im usually a very forgiving person, but this this is totally different. A lot of lives were lost that day and not just to the ones in the buildings and on the planes. God Bless..DolphinPrincess
Date: 10/15/2001 3:18:00 AM  From Authorid: 14226    Yes i would but then agian i didnt loose any family..... actually id say YOU RUINED MY BIRTHDAY!!!!! love,

Date: 10/15/2001 5:25:00 AM  From Authorid: 22852    Nope. I could not forgive him. I myself think if we catch him we need to tie him up in the middle of Times Square and let everyone have a go a him.
Date: 10/15/2001 6:45:00 AM  From Authorid: 24673    NO! He is beyond help. He and his kind have no "feelings" for other human beings. Look at the way they treat women--totally inhumane!!!.....Garbage

Date: 10/15/2001 8:03:00 AM  From Authorid: 15777    There is no possible way ever I would forgive him..I can forget him but never forgive!
Date: 10/15/2001 8:41:00 AM  From Authorid: 34476    I would have to forgive him. As a human being, all I would have to know is whether he was sincere or not. As a Christian, I must.
Date: 10/15/2001 12:51:00 PM  From Authorid: 277    If he said all that nationally, I would assume he had something up his sleeve. I would hope he would immediately be taken out by someone.....anyone.
Date: 10/15/2001 12:51:00 PM  From Authorid: 12600    Yes, I would forgive him...already have. I still think justice needs to be served, though, and that he needs to pay for what he has done. ::: Mark 11:25, "And when you stand praying, if you hold anything against anyone, forgive him, so that your Father in heaven may forgive you your sins." ::: ~peace~

I know the Good Lord says we must forgive...and I know that forgiving others is part and parcel of being forgiven for our own sins. But sorry...guess I'm just a sinner...I'd say HELL NO...then bust a few caps in his turban-wearing butt. Peace,
