I can't imagine what the feeling is like to be there in person. It tears me up to see it on TV :( |

All around it is sad too. Walking around NYC, you see posters with a missing person on it. The posters are usually listing birth marks, tattoos or scars. There are signs all over NYC, some homemade, some professionally done, praising the heroes, our country or showing sympathy to those who lost loved ones. Nearly every store has a flag. There are still messages written on store windows in the dust. People walked away crying and it was hard for me to hold back the tears when I saw them... |

It is always much worst when we can experience it for ourselves. It connects then. Very sad. |

I myself went to NY 2 weeks ago and just couldn't bring myself to go over the bridge. It was bad enough across the river. It was very sad indeed. |

I saw a segment on one of the news shows a couple of weeks back, in which a young ER doctor's wife has been reported missing. She is of East Indian descent. I wonder if anyone has heared anymore about this case? -Captain Skeezix- |

It seems incredible that "ground zero" is still the mass grave of several thousand people. -Captain Zkeezix- |

....not meaning to be morbid...but, I doubt if scars or tattoos would matter now. |
