God created time..In the beginning God created the sun to rise and to set..(We do know that the sun doesn't actually rise,etc,but is is said to rise and set)So,God created day and night..God says all that He created will come to an end.. That's the end of time as we know it(24 hour periods)When the end comes,then time will not be measured anymore..There will only be eternity..  |

Come on people think, everything exist at the same time, how can you go into the future and come back if it hasn't existed yet.. What I was suggesting is if there ever will be a travel to the future, it will more or less be a travel to the past.If you move at the speed of light you can come back before you take off. Never, ever will there be a time machine to see our deepest mysteries. It's impossible it deifes the rules of the universe.. Now who watches all the movies.. |

Our bodies would never be able to survive the speed of light, only our thoughts can. So yes you can only move to the future or the past in thought it makes it impossible ""for Our present to be someone else's past". So it would be impossible for God to create the world in six days, because that would suggest on the seventh day, the other six days don't exist therefore his creation of time and days would not work because it existed in the past, therefore non-existing at all.. A creation on tuesday, doesn't exist on wednesday. It would make more sense if god said I created the world in the ever existant moment of now. Then and only then a creation can take place,because it's forever changing in the moment.. |

If we built a house of stone 500 years ago,it could still be existing today..So..We built the house in the past,about 182,500 thousand times of the rising and settings of the sun..If I "create" a child on Tuesday,he still exists on Wednesday.. If we create something,it is a physical thing and it will remain,today,tomorrow,etc..But..It does age with time..Time is measured according to the rising and setting of the sun..My child that I "created" years ago still exist today but he is older..The world which God created thoushands of years ago still stands and it has gotten older.. If there was no time,then we nor the world would be getting older..Now..I firmly believe that God created all things in 6 days and on the 7th day He "rested" or stopped creating.I firmly believe that God is unlimited in intellect,wisdom,power, etc and can do anything He so desires..God could have just as easily caused all things as we know it to be in an instant,but I do believe that it is possible that He created all things in 6 days and reasted on the 7th was for the very reason to cause time to be measured..He created the sun to rise and set in order to measure day and night because He knew He was creating a man who would be limited in what he could do and man needed measured time in order to survive..A man is not a machine which could operate without resting..A man must have rest periods..In Hs wisdom,He knew what man needed to make his life worthwhile..Can you image life if we had no measured time?..Man would die..All things on earth survives because of measured time..As I said..God limited man and man needs measured time..When man dies,he is received into eternity where there is no measured time..He will not age,he will not sleep,etc..He will be in a place with no limitations as time.... |

The creation story in the bible doesn't say "when" anything happened. It only says "In the Beginning", just as many other creations stories do also. There are no dates. Regarding the "end"; while many hold that Revelation is a prophecy, there are also many who hold that it is a spiritual initiation process undergone by John and not a prediction of anything. I think that while God created the PROCESS of time, man instituted the MEASUREMENT of time. And what the Bible is "predicting" is in terms of certain events happening, not trying to put any "time" period on it. The words "In the beginning" means.."In the beginning of time" or "when time began"..Before that there was no measured time..We now live in this measured time..But according to the scriptures, measured time will end..Then all things will go back to being eternal,no measured time but forever and ever..There will be no more time,death,births,etc as these things are all controled by time and has limitations.. |
