My theory why people become gothic - Dr Dopey   Author:  27028  Category:(Discussion) Created:(4/26/2001 1:24:00 PM) This post has been Viewed (1220 times) hey this might not be true, but i think its for the average young goth and how they become it, im a goth so you know its from someone whos been there. i think people become gothic because they have nothing to turn to, they feel outcast from the world, and they think society sucks. they can't stand people and would rather want to be alone, when there parents tell them to go to bed or do your homework right now. they turn around and shout 'f*** you* this is the reason why people become gothic, because of all the torture they have in life, they don't like to be given rules or be ordered by, they want to live their own life asides from rules. so much parents put so much pressure and force into people it makes them really rebellious and want to be alone away from stupid people, they feel depressed and enjoy gothic music, heavy metal, black metal because of its reputation as being depressive and dark music and the enjoyment of the raging machines going through their skull. they enjoy the depresseion and darkness of poetry, the writing says what they feel like. Those that want the gothic look want to express themselves as a person as much as they can do. They are totally against anything in life, pop. preps and more. Religion plays a key role, not all goths are satanic. some are jewish, some are wiccan and some are christian. the reason poeple turn into goths is because when at the age of 10 - 13. through adolescensee. their tostostorian (how do you spell it ) kick in making them really angry and from that point they become gothic, its also te same age most goths start to realize their gothic and how the world sucks. from that point they become gothic for the rest of thier highschool life. some of them may grow out of it while others still become it. the mind, and anger, the adolescense and parenthood determine whereever one becomes a goth. goto www.gothic.org its a really good site and i reommend reading it You can join Unsolved Mysteries and post your own mysteries or interesting stories for the world to read and respond to Click here Scroll all the way down to read replies.
