Well this is more like a poem than a joke, I like it because I'm southern though, there is no resemblence to me or the folks I know other than the dialect. I love it, LOL here it is.
Suzy Lee fell in love She planned to marry Joe, She was so hapy bout it all She told her pappy so
Pappy told her, " Suzie gal You'll have to find another, I'd just as soon yo waw don't know but Joe is yo half-brother So Suzie forgot about her Joe,
And planned to marry Will, But after telling pappy this, He said, "There's trouble still, you can't marry Will, my gal, and please don't tell your mother Cause Will and Joe and several mo' I know is yo half-brothers
But Mama knew and said "Honey chile' do what makes you happy. Marry Will or Marry Joe, you ain't no kin to pappy."
I thought this was so funny, though it does kind of keep the sterotype of southerners going. The thing is though, there is a few people I've heard about that do have this problem. LOL Angel2001
