Ask your doctor for a prescription for a cortisone cream. It is very expensive, but really does the job. The cortisone creams over the counter are not strong enough. Also, the doctor may give you a prednisone prescription. The Thinker |

Your doctor can give you something that will help relieve soem of the symptoms, but I am here to tell you that even after the blisters are gone, you will still have the pain for the rest of your life. I had them about 8 years ago and I went to an herblist and got a bunch of medicine and they really help me alot. After you have once had them with the blisters don't be around anyone with the chicken pocks because you will break out again. I really feel for you because they are the most painful things that have ever come to anyone and I wouldn't wish them on my worst enemy. You will be in my thoughts and prayers. Whitefawn |

Not sure, but you might try an oatmeal bath. It works well for chicken pox. Sorry you'r in so much discomfort. I've heard it's very painful. Best wishes. |
