Hoax?

I got another question for you all. Has anyone ever seen the shows called, "Scary Stories"? and I think there is another called, "Scary Places" i may be wrong on the name of that last one, but i'm pretty sure its right. Well, anyway if you seen them then you might think them a little fishy. I'm not saying all the stories that are on there are fake, but for example on Scary stories, this girl was going to stay in this haunted lighthouse, it showed her staying in it all night, with here going around outside and in a couple of other haunted buildings that were part of the lighthouse, in one part she said she heard and felt something then she said she saw something but when the camera looked that way, nothing there. Then later on it showed her sleeping on the floor in the lighthouse, camera still rolling, she woke up and said she heard somthing, and then seen it, she kinda freaked out and didnt go back to sleep the rest of the night, but the thing is why didnt the camera pick up the sound or showed us what she saw, I mean it was right next to her and it was facing whatever she saw. But it didnt show anything? So what Im asking if it is a hoax or not? What do you think?
