I know, its very sad when peope commit suicide, mainly its because the have heaps of problems, and the problems keep building up inside them, until they can't handle it anymore!They get depressed, and they think that there is no use of living, because they think everyone hates them, and the just kill themselves. Its horrible, coz as u said they are breaking other peoples hearts around them! *hugz* i hope suicide will stop i hate it!  |

I agree with Silverwolf. Intence amounts of Fear, Frustration, and feelings of powerlessness build up continuesly with no sign of slowing or stopping is what makes a person consider suicide. At that time, you start seeing life as a pointless pain, and that your very existance is just ment to suffer. It's not just one thing, but many things that motivate. I've tried to kill myself a few times before... it's a terrible feeling like nothing can save you... I don't recommend it.  |

Well there is an intense feeling of loneliness, and that nobody could even understand, sometimes they don't really have control of themselves and it scares them. Some might even do it for spite as if to say "You'll feel bad when I'm dead" It's such a deep tunnel that some people think there is no one or anything that can help them. Try to picture your worst nightmare coming true, but you couldn't do anything about it, and it overcame you, and you knew you'd be living like that for the rest of your life. You'd rather die right? Cuz there's nothing to live for so why live? That pretty much sums it up. It's an incredible sadness that just consumes your soul- a very dark and scary place to be. I'm talking from personal experience. God saved me from myself. <><Beautiful Lilies<><  |

well ashley, sometimes a person can get so hurting inside that they can't bear it. they think this is the only or easiest answer. no, they do not think they are hurting us, they actually hurt so much inside that they cannot believe that anyone can love them. we know differently, but it is hard when you hurt like that and feel empty and useless. i would love to tell all people who get depressed that it DOES get better, but i know that you cannot believe it while you feel this way. i would also love to tell them that for some odd reason the most intelligent and creative people are the ones who get depressed. there are usually some awesome poetry, paintings, stories and other deep things created during and after bouts with depression. *sigh* been there myself. i hope i helped you see into depression a little. meru |

i atteempted it earlier on in life casue i was being raped by a teacher on a weekly basis for 2 years and used drugs to escape the reality of it,so i think your brain snaps and goes away,ssometimes it comes back.  |

I agree with CPM. I used to sleep with sleeping pills under my pillow, but was too much of a wuss to actually take them. That made me feel even worse about myself. Sometimes I just felt so alone and like such a loser and a failure that it seemed no one would even notice if I was gone; I thought I'd be doing everyone a favor if I just checked out. Other times I felt so angry and let down by the people around me, I wanted to kill myself just to hurt them. When you're that low, lots of really sad things go through your mind. . .
