ive been here since june 2000. it has changed...some changes good, others bad. some people have become meaner, and i agree with you. i just hope it doesn't get worse...usm was (and sometimes still is) a great, friendly place that is different from the world. it holds just nice, pure people. but it couldnt be for too long. the bad apples have came and gone, and probably more to come to. i just hope it doesnt get worse! but either way, i still love USM!  |

Their is a lot of fighting here now, and it is very big! I wasnt here when it only has 4 or 5,000 users but its certainly different then when i was new. I remember when the ID's were22000's now they are like 34000's. Its like a little city, when it grows you get more diverse people, and more people like you, but you also have overcrowding and more people fighting over nonsense, and people acting stupid in chat, plus a lot of people are leaving nasty replies to stories........  |

Yah, it's too bad your perspective is so slanted. Maybe you could enjoy looking for the inner beauty that USM still possesses. Maybe you aren't trying hard enuff *wink*... although i never really was a big part in the site...i totally understand what you are saying. Like something use to be so sacred...and by everyone being part of it it ruins it and its just not speacial anymore. I miss the little things where i played a big part in too...  |

what about this story is polite??? this story could make a lot of peeps feel unwelcomed why not creat your own site or IM peeps if you feel there are too many here. geeze this made me feel horrible was that your intention???? well, ya did it I believe that I have contributed nicely to this site and brought gained insight and understanding and friendship, but you four and less digits may just not know that  |

You know what? After telling cblossom I wouldn't reply to this post b/c it was mean, I've changed my mind. You know, if you actually got to know the so called "newbies" you may find that most of us are very loving, OPEN MINDED people. You are living in the past. Having a lot of people on this site is inevitable. But while we're on the subject of numbers, let's go here. What if I said, "I noticed you are younger than I am. Uh oh, I've been on this earth longer. I guess I'm more superior. I wish everything was the way it was before 1983." That's pretty mean and low spirited isn't it? I would never say that to someone's face. That is wrong. Sure there are some mean-spirited people here. That's natural. And I'm not trying to be rude, but who are you to call the kettle black? I hope you reach past your ethnocentricity and find that bigger numbers don't count. =Odd= |

Well with 34,000 members of course there will be more tension and fighting. Just like anywhere in life the more people the more problems, but you will just have to skip over those posts and find something else you like. If you look hard enough you will find many many wonderful stories. Things change, did you really except this site to remain with 3000 people forever? There are many private chat rooms you can go into on the internet if you want to talk alone with your girlfriend or whoever a chat room is a chat room it doesn't have to be USM.  |

you all have verry good points. but you misjudge me. Im sorry if i upset anyone with my poast. As I sais before. It isnt because of any one person. That dosent just include the recent members of USM. it's the site as a whole. I was simply stateing that it has changed and I miss some of the things we once had. I still love this site and a lot of the people here. It's just changed.  |
